“Be silly, be honest, be kind."
– Ralph Waldo Emerson, American comedian
Hiya! Hope you're doing well and welcome to Week 10! We're in the last stretch so finish strong everyone :) This past week we held Meeting 7: Fall Professor Panel! It was a great time chatting with Dr. Leslie Nelson and Dr. Megan Lambertz-Berndt about their academic journeys, fun stories about being a professor, and some fantastic advice. Thank you so much to our professors for speaking at this event! If you were unable to make it to this panel, check out the recording and recap on our website. This meeting was our LAST official meeting for Fall Quarter 2020!
Although we will not be having any more club meetings for this quarter, our next scheduled Town Hall is be November 24th, right before the Thanksgiving weekend. It will be a casual gathering to discuss this quarter's topic. There will be no Fishbowl hour that week (as Thursday will be a holiday - no class/meetings!). Subscribe to our Google Calendar to never miss a meeting! For our COMS Mentorship Program cohort, the free hour this Wednesday can be used for a check-in meeting. More details to come about Winter Break and Winter Quarter soon!

Thank you all so much for everyone’s interest and patience in the Cal Poly SLO COMS Club!
Club dues are $12 for the 2020-2021 annual membership.
We have just launched our registration form for 2020-21 Club Membership. Your club dues directly support ALL Cal Poly COMS Club meetings and events. HOWEVER, our club is committed to making sure our community members have complete access to our club as a whole. If there is any reason why you cannot pay dues, but would like to be considered a full member of the Cal Poly COMS Club, still fill out the registration form completely. *Note, full membership (Registration and Dues) is not required to participate at Cal Poly COMS Club meetings and events; see membership perks below*
