[F'20] Meeting 7: Fall Professor Panel - November 10, 2020

Hello! How are y'all doing? It's already week nine, and this week we held our seventh meeting of the year - and the LAST general meeting of Fall Quarter! It's been a blast hosting these meetings with you all, and we cannot wait for next quarter's events. Stay up to date with us on Instagram @calpolyslocomsclub for our upcoming Winter Quarter Preview.

This week was our Fall Professor Panel, featuring Dr. Leslie Nelson and Dr. Megan Lambertz-Berndt. It was great to hear their stories and advice about being in academia and being Cal Poly COMS professors. Thank you so much to you both for your participation in this quarter's panel!

If you weren't able to make this week's meeting, check out the full meeting recording here:

Also, check out our Virtual Fishbowl every Thursday afternoon from 2-3pm PST! NOTE: FISHBOWLS WILL NOT BE ACTIVE OVER WINTER BREAK. Our Fishbowls are a casual study hour; drop by to ask a question, say hi, or just to have some company as you study. Learn more here.

As a reminder, our club membership is now open! Annual full membership is $12, and ANYONE can join! As a note, full membership is not required to attend general club meetings and events, but paying dues helps directly support club activities and event planning. Learn more here.

As a quick club meeting update, we will not be hosting our Meeting 8: Party and Check-In next Wednesday. However, will be reaching out to our Mentorship cohort for an end of quarter check-in!

We hope you all have a great start to your holiday season, and best of luck to everyone during Finals Week!

All the information shared in the meeting can be found on our website or detailed below in the attached slides:
