COMS Club strives to be a unifying space for all students interested in the social and academic aspects of communication. We are a diverse and inclusive club.

Our diversity is essential to our ability to mentor our members, hold inclusive social events, and to create a strong sense of community. We recognize the intellect of each member by actively encouraging an equitable and accessible club — in race, ethnicity, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, thought, style, culture and experience. Everyone has a unique worldview and set of experiences that should be honored.

Within COMS Club, we hold a strict zero-tolerance policy towards hate speech. We reject any and all racist, sexist, homophobic, ableist, ageist etc. language or attitudes in our club. Any and all instances of hate speech will be met with a meeting between the individual and the Executive Board. COMS Club will take these matters seriously. Additionally, we will take this as an opportunity to grow and learn together.
