– Celeste Ng, from Little Fires Everywhere
Hi, We're more than half-way to the end of the quarter! I think I can smell summer....? Maybe it's just the smell of the sunshine ☀️ How have you been enjoying your quarter so far?
Last week, we had our Meeting 3: A Reflection on and Celebration of Cinco de Mayo. It was really informative and a great moment of reflection about our exposure to the Cinco de Mayo holiday and the real history behind the holiday and what it means to celebrate May 5th in the United States. Thank you to all our meeting participants for sharing and joining in on the discussion! Our full meeting recap can be found here (including the videos we shared and a special message from our President, Shelby Wong!).
Our next general meeting will be NEXT WEDNESDAY, May 19th at 11:10! Join us for Meeting 4: Mentor/Mentee Game Social ! You DO NOT need to be on the COMS Mentorship Program to join! We'll be playing One Night Ultimate Werewolf as well as sharing resources for Mental Health Awareness Month. Follow us on Instagram to get updated on the latest news about COMS Club!
