“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”
– C.S. Lewis, British author
Hello!
Congrats on making it to Finals Week (or the strange limbo before Finals, I guess...). This week we have Wednesday, November 25th to the 27th off for Thanksgiving Holiday - no classes and no general meeting! Our next general meeting will be in January when we return from Winter Break.
Although we will not be having any more club meetings for this quarter, our final Town Hall for the quarter will be Tuesday, November 24th. It will be a casual gathering to discuss this quarter's topic. There will be no Fishbowl hour next week.
For everyone celebrating (and not celebrating) the Thanksgiving Holiday, we hope you have a restful break before the last push through Finals Week! If you're traveling for the holiday or returning home from campus, make sure you check-up on guidelines for travel to make sure you're doing your part to help limit the spread of COVID!
For everyone who may be away from home this holiday season or need the resources, check out the CP Essentials page. On the site there's plenty of information on food resources, help with housing, mental health assistance, and other services for Cal Poly students!

Thank you all so much for everyone’s interest and patience in the Cal Poly SLO COMS Club!
Club dues are $12 for the 2020-2021 annual membership.
We have just launched our registration form for 2020-21 Club Membership. This small fee helps to fund COMS Club materials for our weekly meetings, large events such as the Annual Communication Studies Banquet, and other club functions. Your club dues directly support ALL Cal Poly COMS Club meetings and events. HOWEVER, our club is committed to making sure our community members have complete access to our club as a whole. If there is any reason why you cannot pay dues, but would like to be considered a full member of the Cal Poly COMS Club, still fill out the registration form completely. *Note, full membership (Registration and Dues) is not required to participate at Cal Poly COMS Club meetings and events; see membership perks below*
