“Don’t watch the clock; do what it does.
Keep going.”
– Sam Levenson, American comedian
Hello!
It's been a difficult past week for many: from election updates, midterms that should really just be finals at this point, COVID-19, and a range of other circumstances and experiences, but here's hoping you'll find some rest this week nine. As a general reminder, there is no class this Wednesday, 11/11 for the Veterans Day holiday. Last week, we did not hold an official meeting, but instead held the space for an Election Debrief. Thank you to everyone who stopped by. For everyone else, we hope you were able to take the hour for yourself - however you needed it. This week, due to Veterans Day, we will not have a meeting on Wednesday. Instead, we will be hosting our Meeting 7: Fall Professor Panel TOMORROW, November 10 from 11:10-12am PT. We will be hosting three COMS professor panelists: Dr. Leslie Nelson, Dr. Megan Lambertz-Berndt, and Dr. John Patrick. They will be sharing about their COMS experience, area of research, and answering student questions for them. This should be a really informative and exciting event, so come out and support your COMS faculty! Subscribe to our Google Calendar to never miss a meeting! Since our general meeting has been moved to Tuesday, we will NOT be having a Town Hall meeting this week. Our next scheduled gathering will be November 24th before the Thanksgiving weekend.
