Hope y'all are well. It's almost Halloween! How are you all celebrating the spooky season? I recommend making a warm drink... I've definitely been treating myself to homemade spiced milk tea. Boil black tea with fresh ginger, peppercorns, cinnamon, and ground turmeric. Add milk and brown (or even better, black) sugar to the mixture and raise to a boil again. Strain and enjoy!
This week, we hosted three guests from the College of Liberal Arts Advising Center (CLA Advising). We learned some great tips to keep in mind when registering and received a demo of the new Schedule Builder. Here is a link to some notes and resources collected from the meeting.

Next Wednesday, we will be hosting an Election Debrief. Due to the Presidential Election being the night before, we will be using our meeting space to converse, vent, and decompress. Feel free to use the hour for yourself, or come by for some company. For everyone who still hasn't voted, make sure you drop off your ballot at an official drop-off box or at your local polling station on November 3rd. If you're going to be voting in person, make sure to stay safe! More information on voting can be found here or in our last meeting post.
Also, check out our Virtual Fishbowl every Thursday afternoon from 2-3pm PST! Our Fishbowls are a casual study hour; drop by to ask a question, say hi, or just to have some company as you study. Learn more here.
Also as a reminder, our club membership is now open! Annual full membership is $12, and ANYONE can join! As a note, full membership is not required to attend general club meetings and events, but paying dues helps directly support club activities and event planning. Learn more here.
Again, it was so great to see everyone this week, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon at our next meeting, Wednesday, November 4th from 11:10am-12pm PST for an Election Debrief.
All the information shared in the meeting can be found on our website or detailed below in the attached slides:
